Ayush saw this problem firsthand at Checkout.com when he acted as product manager for risk & fraud, scaling their internal rule engine to 500k daily events. John has been building software for 6 years and studied computer engineering at Imperial College London. Before Recase, he built a low-code tool to help devs automate backend development.

Problem

More than 50% of fintech onboarding and underwriting cases require some form of manual review. These reviews delay revenue and increase the rate at which customers abandon the process.

Some examples:

• Asking customers for new documents because they uploaded the wrong one
• Requesting additional information from higher-risk customers
• Investigating AML alerts for false positives
• Formatting data from bank statements into underwriting models
