orkweek has successfully raised its Series A investment round, securing $12.5 million in new capital. The round was led by Mike Smerklo from Next Coast Ventures, with participation from existing investors at LightShed Ventures, Declaration Capital, and a group of angel investors. This funding will significantly support Workweek’s innovative initiatives.

In the past 2.5 years, Workweek has been dedicated to creating leading B2B newsletters and podcasts featuring industry experts like Ari Murray, Hebba Youssef, and Blake Madden. With this new capital, Workweek is excited to launch a unique professional network platform.

This platform is designed to cater to specialized professions, such as e-commerce operators, healthcare strategists, franchisees, and HR executives & more. Offering a space free from the noise and clutter typically encountered in broader social networks.

With many professionals feeling more isolated at work these days, there hasn't really been a good place for business leaders to connect in a way that combines authenticity with practicality. The Workweek Professional Network Platform is filling this gap.

Membership is exclusive to professionals within each field, ensuring that interactions are relevant, meaningful, and packed with trustworthy advice.

Looking ahead, Workweek isn't stopping here. The platform will soon feature a suite of apps designed to enhance productivity and success in each profession. One of the standout tools already in use is a business intelligence app developed by Workweek, which allows members to integrate APIs to benchmark their data, providing important insights to stay competitive and informed about industry standards.
